Blog Guelph: Plant A Forest

* 977, originally uploaded by dezsö.

In the Solutions For Cities section - the suggestion to plant a forest is put forth as a way to help clean the air.

Yah right you gasp and roll your eyes! Plant a forest!

But turns out - a lofty idea of such visionary scope is not only doable, it's very exciting.

Guelph has already started the Old Growth Forest Project - a 100 acre tract of land on the Ignatius property just north of Woodlawn on Hwy. 6.

Click on the live link to find out how you can get involved in this 500 499 year project.
