Blog Guelph - Yellow Baby in Bloom
According to Wikipedia, cabinets of curiosities (also known as Wunderkammer or wonder-rooms) were collections of types of objects we now regard as quite separate, but whose boundaries were in the Renaissance yet to be defined.
It seems many Guelph Flickerites have amassed their own wonder-rooms, chock full of curiousness for all to see.
Have to say I'm so relieved that Guelph is inhabited by the curious.
And I mean curious...(think The GiantVermin).
Claygrl shares her vision of this today with the first two of a quartet.
Carry on.

Blog Guelph: Vieux Farka Toure
Claygrl caught Vieux Farka Toure in action at yesterday's noon hour concert at the University of Guelph.
According to his press release, "10% of proceeds from Vieux Farka Toure will be donated to Bee Sago, a UNICEF-affiliated organization, as part of Modiba's "Fight Malaria" campaign. With Vieux's help, they hope to reach their goal of providing every pregnant woman and child in the Touré's home region of Niafunké with a treated mosquito net—the most effective preventative measure in the fight against malaria, Africa's leading cause of infant mortality. "
You can support this effort, plus be the owner of an exception disc of music by buying Vieux Farka Toure first album - click right here.
