Blog Guelph: O you with flowers

The Pure Guelphishness playlist today on hoofbeats radio, featured Royal City

O you with flowers
At rush hour the cars
I'm taking the train
You strutted and fretted across
I am a row youth
The sound of street cars

Royal City is Evan Gordon, Jim Guthrie, Nathan Lawr, Simon Osbourne & Aaron Riches; with Liz Forsberg, Lewis Melville,  James Ogilvie and Rebecca Simpson. What sparse but rich music eh? I love the melodies.  And I found the traffic and streetcar imagery odd for a cfru local library music find, but what a delightful glimpse of another nifty neighbour.  Just the right music for an Easter Monday morning.
