Blog Guelph: Into the night

Fancy Pants, a photo by rubberschmuckie on Flickr.

I know I'm not alone in disliking the 5:30 p.m. darkness.

Our time just "fell back" a few days ago and I'm already counting the days till we have more light again.
  • 46 days until the winter solstice. December 21 is the darkest day of the year. Once it's over the days start getting longer again. Woo hoo! And,
  • 115 days until we "spring forward"... on March 9, 2014. That's quite a way's off... 4 long, cold, dark, months. Seems like an eternity, doesn't it?
But we'll get through it. And spring will be every bit as awesome as it was last year... and the year before that... right?
