Blog Guelph: Hillside Magic

Did you have a happy Hillside?

As always, amid chairs, tarps, coolers, tents, blankets and drum circles, Hillside offered an amazingly enjoyable musical line-up. Along with affordable, delicious, easy to find vegetarian food and a relaxed and respectful attitude towards audience behaviour and which fosters a uniquely communal and genteel vibe.

I mentioned that the festival also boasts an eclectic line-up from celebrated singer songwriters, to bluegrass, to country and hip-hop heavyweights, to spoken word and indie to art-rock elite, right?

This Music Monday, instead of a Pure Guelphishness playlist featuring just one musician, I just wanted to remind you to plan your next year's vacation around our local festival. There's only 362 sleeps to the next one... and you don't want to miss such magic.

Did you notice that this year, there was even a rainbow, as this picture is intended to remind you?!

- Enjoy!
