"Writing pictures instead of drawing lines..."
There are some very catchy lines, in appealing, intriguing melodies with engaging instrumentation in today's Music Monday local feature.

I first caught a glimpse of the new band Odd Years, during a photo session they were doing downtown Guelph. One of my favourites on their facebook page is thanks Austin Gibson Photography and Gregory Clifford Denton at Macondo Books!  I saw them again shortly after performing live in the station at CFRU, and was inspired to find more of their music to listen to. And now, I get a chance to suggest you do the same....
Odd Years is a new group making waves in Canadian music, from right here in Guelph. As well as giving their music a listen, you can watch them play a song in a recent Southern Souls video shot at A.J.'s house with canine pals in attendance.
