Blog Guelph: the pros and cons of spring

Spring is, by far, my favourite season. I love the fresh moist air and warm-not-hot temperatures. It's great weather for walking, and photo opportunities abound. Thinking about all the reasons I love spring got me thinking about a few things I dislike, so I came up with a short list of pros and cons.

Goodbye snow, hello warmer weather.
Crazy, unpredictable weather... like last night's surprise storm complete with wicked lightning and house-shaking booms. And, the possibility of more snow… towards the end of this week. Ugh.
Watching the transition from boring brown to oh-so-lush green outside. Spring flowers. Cherry blossoms. Awesome!
Knowing it’ll likely turn brown again in summer. Darn hot dry weather.
Animals come out of hibernation and tour the city, some with cute babies in tow…. awwwww!
Roadkill. Everywhere. For months on end. Wish i never had to see this.
More people and pets outside enjoying the great weather.
Lost pet posters. In parks, on trees, on lights posts, in grocery stores… all over the city.

Gotta say though, in spite of the cons I've identified, spring still rocks... and there are far more pros than cons. Got anything to add? Say it in the comments!
