Blog Guelph: Rake It Up

Shivering Beeches by BunnySafari
Shivering Beeches, a photo by BunnySafari on Flickr.

Good Morning,

Have you noticed that autumn sound yet? You know, the annoying one that wakes you up on a sleepy Sunday morning. The insistent roar of the dreaded leaf blower! How I miss the gentle swish of the old fashioned rake as it calmly collects piles of autumnal gold. For me it is a soothing accompaniment, until I realize that while I have been enjoying the sounds of a neighbor's hard labor, I should be doing the same.

Beware the camouflaged 'surprises' left behind by your faithful chums in the garden, I have been fooled by many piles of 'leaves'.
Stepping in dog poo rates just as aggravating as the leaf blower in my books.

Enjoy the foliage!
