Blog Guelph: Time for an Art Jam

Art Jam by Sue Richards
Art Jam, a photo by Sue Richards on Flickr.

Three days to go till the amazing annual Art on the Street show and sale downtown Guelph. I am excited to be there with my pottery and I will be going outside of my comfort zone by showing some of my film photography for the first time. In the time left for me to prepare, I still have to fire my kiln for the next two nights, price my pots, pack my pots, find all of my display gear, make sure my tent works and remember to breathe. I am a firm believer in 'pressure makes diamonds'.

I will even have on hand a few loaded cameras to work on my 100 Strangers Project. I need 48 more willing participants. Fun times, I can't wait!

I encourage you to come out and be dazzled and amazed by the talent that this city has hidden in its midst. Surround yourself with the unexpected. Don't forget your pocketbooks!

Back to the studio for me.
