At The River, a photo by digitalambitions/ Valerie Hogg on Flickr.
I wish I could tell you all the beautiful things I’ve
witnessed in my life. I wish I could show you the shadows, share the capacity.
I wish I knew how to share my love openly, my pain fearlessly.
I wish I could tell you
About me
I wish I could know how to be unchained. Run a riot of
freedom. Speak the deep truth. Share with you the drink of depthless ocean.
I’d offer myself but I’m afraid. In the night I think it is
not enough. In the day I see the banks of a river’s edge. And through it’s
edges I wander. Covered by trees, protected by dandelion dreams.
I wish I could tell you
The greatness the weakness. The skies I’ve seen at morning
and at sun’s end. All the minutes I was fighting. The hours I was remembering. The
times I was praying. The days I was counting. The miles I was crossing. The
hope I was holding.
I wish I could tell you
