Blog Guelph: Abandoned

Shattered Dreams by Krista Kruger
Shattered Dreams, a photo by Krista Kruger on Flickr.

Happy Monday... Late Monday!

GRAWR to computer issues.

This past week, I had the chance to shoot at a couple of abandoned homes. This was a first for me, and I really enjoyed it.

One of the places was pretty trashed and still full of so much stuff. It is eye opening, and a little heartbreaking. It makes you question what could make someone leave in that much of a hurry. It seemed like everything was left behind. You could feel the forgotten dreams and life left behind. Truly heartbreaking.

The second place was my favorite. So full of potential. It was the kind of place you could sit in and dream of everything it could be. I have to go back... I have to take more time there.

Do any of you shoot at abandoned places? How does the scenery make you feel?

See you all next week,
