Blog Guelph: There Are No Fences Facing

Gazing... at the cottons in the sky by NaturesEssence

Life is rich with possibility. With choice. With unexpected change, in the shift of winds.

Sometimes our faith is tested, our measures taxed, our love lost, our temper stormed. Our dreams waged and wrecked. Our hope fooled, our spirit pushed and fallen.

And yet, we are resilient. We can prevail against odds and situations that are damning.

Bob Dylan’s verse and but for the sky, there are no fences facing, speaks to this possibility. This spectacular quality we have to overcome, to journey, to learn, to forgive. And to become stronger.

To defy the terms of negativity in our lives.

I hope you’ll find today’s blog inspiring and that you’ll always have the wonderful audacity to choose for yourself when it comes to change.

To see no fences facing. No matter what.

I would be remiss in not offering some inspiring community events to look forward to:

Tonight at Macdonald Stewart Art Centre, we are opening an amazing exhibition of furniture by Thomas Nisbet at 7pm. Please join!

On Family Day Monday at 2pm, MSAC is having the biggest Community Bear Hug ever! Meet at The Bear at 2pm. It will be documented by Dean Palmer who will stay on to take family portraits with The Bear following the group hug.
