Silvercreek Trail, a photo by City of Guelph on Flickr.
This has been a strange winter, weather-wise, and once again we’re faced with little more than a light dusting of snow. Normally I’m the one saying I’d like winter better if it stayed green, but this year I feel deprived of snow!
Maybe it’s because the exhilaration I felt while taking photos the night of our first real snowfall is still fresh in my mind.
And that incredible morning there was snow AND fog. I spent hours wandering the Hanlon Creek area that day.
Guelph’s got some great parks and trails which would look amazing if they were covered with snow again. C’mon, snow! (And stay warmish).
In the meantime, I’ve selected some photos that represent wintery goodness… snowy trails, happy dogs, and a snowman. Enjoy!
