Our shortest month is winding down as we March toward spring, spring, spring!! Farewell frosty February. Thanks for all the fun.
I've just finished a wonderful 6 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction with Barbara Wilkinson right here in good old Guelph. If you're feeling out of control with your life's course and speed, I'd highly recommend you consider joining Barbara for her next session in May. If you're convinced that you don't have time, ponder this. Regular meditation helps slow down all our frenzied thinking - which in turn allows for deep relaxation, which energizes the mind and body and make it much easier to handle daily stress and see your options more clearly. It's hard work that pays off in spades. A calm mind is a content mind.
Lot's of cool photos for you to consider today. Happy Monday to you.
May you stay dry and soaker free.

Blog Guelph: I Love Art
Art - Art - Art - how I love Art.
Here's some stuff to consider adding to your end of winter dance card. All three events are likely to sell out so snooze and you will loose - or snooze and get caught up with your sleep - your choice.
This Saturday Night: Shannon Kingsbury Band and the Billie Hollies @ Carden Street Cafe.
Next Saturday Night: Jeff Bird and Sue Smith @ Water Street House Concerts.
Also next Saturday eve: GUELPH CHAMBER CHOIR'S "SONGFEST 2011: FOLK & FAMILY" CONCERT: The Guelph Chamber Choir is joined by award-winning Canadian folk artists: James Gordon and Tannis Slimmon; along with the Centre Wellington Singers, Harcourt Memorial United Church Choir, John F. Ross C.V.I. Concert Choir and The Rainbow Chorus of Waterloo-Wellington.
May your weekend be filled with song and sunshine. Please enjoy the photo selection and click, click, click to see more, more, more! So many purdy pictures.

Blog Guelph: Kissing bridge
Good Morning!
I could really use a few more hours of sleep, and I wish I could crawl under the covers until even 9, but it's not going to happen. Sigh.
I hope you've all had plenty of sleep! Enjoy your day!
I'll leave you with a great new song by Adele. What a voice to go along with these photos from around Guelph. Check them out!

Blog Guelph: Signs of spring
Signs of Spring! I think that will be my motto today!
Of course it's too early, but my eyes were playing tricks on me yesterday when I saw dandelion leaves and thought I saw a yellow flower. I am a little conflicted though. I've really enjoyed winter and I still haven't snowshoed with Paula, and there ought to be another game or two of hockey with my friend's kids. But Spring, is such a great season. It's fresh and new, and hopeful.
So, I think I'll take the title of this first photo and run with it today!
Don't forget to click on the photos to check out the rest of the photographer's flickr stream!

Good Morning!
The sun is shining, but you just know it's going to be cold out there. Wednesday, I see is going to be warmer. I think I'll wait to take my cameras out then!
I hope you take a look at the photos today. It's a little celebration for film! :)
Enjoy your day!

Blog Guelph: Snow carpet
Going, going, goneish!!
Yes we have a big melt going on right now with a bit of an Aruba type day shaping up out there. Get out while you can - with freezing temperatures this evening it will be slippery again tomorrow.
Have a dandy weekend.

Blog Guelph: light
Good Morning!
Yesterday, on my day off, I wandered downtown. I needed black quinoa for a breakfast recipe I wanted to try, and I needed almond milk. Of course I had to pop into The WIld Rose, and decided not on Meow and Chat Noir, and Macondo. They are all such great stores, but my bag was getting heavy, and my camera bag didn't help.
Anyway, walking back up Wyndham I passed On the Verge. When my niece is around, it is required stopping, but I walked by, only to stop in my tracks. There is a window display of head massagers. Years ago these were big! I wanted one, and now was the time.
It's great!
Don't forget to click on the photos! I love the mix today!
Have a fun day!

Blog Guelph: winter's teeth
Good Morning!
The weather forecast says it's going up to 2 today! It's going to feel positively balmy!
Today's photos are all ice related. (Doesn't this first photo look a concrete arch bridge in an ice storm) It's what we're going to see dripping all over town today. I've been itching to walk up people's driveways to take a photo of their trees laden with ice from the overhead roof runoffs.
Enjoy your day, and watch your step!

Blog Guelph: Brownie Hawkeye Car
Good morning!
It's been a little while since I've been here in this space. I've been treking through snow and skating on ice, and really enjoying winter. It's been a fun season. I'd really like a do over.
How about you? How are you?
Today I thought I would post a mostly black and white group of photos. (Isn't Bandit the best?!) Click on the photos and you'll be brought to each photographer's flickr stream.
I'll leave you with a song I've been listening to on repeat on my ipod. It's happy and fun and I'm not sick of it yet. The official video is great fun too!
Have a great day!
