Blog Guelph: Through Movement, Come Change

St. George's Square, Shifted by Aidan M.D. Ware

Consciousness is only possible through change; change is only possible through movement.  ~ Aldous Huxley

There's a slogan attached to Guelph that suggests we "make a difference." What does this mean in our lives? What does it take to make a difference? Do I make a difference?

Change creates difference. Movement creates change.

Today I post photos about movement in order to think about how we can all make a difference. About how we do make a difference. How we can push and pull, leap in faith, transport and free ourselves - as we create and cause, drive and devour, all the differences and changes in the ebb and flow of our city.

And while on the topic of movement, the Festival of Moving Media kicks off today with a terrific line-up, starting with tonight's 6:30pm  Hidden Histories: Secret Places at Ed Video. I hope to see you there.

Also, planning is under way for November's Fourth Friday which is the 25th. Some of the photos from October's Fourth Friday Photo  Mob I have featured on this post. If you have creative energy and want to make some change, please join the Fourth Friday brigade!

And don't forget : move, create, change. We all make a difference.
