Blog Guelph: Cinderella Tannis

Cinderella Tannis, originally uploaded by D J England.

Guelph is a city chocked full of creative people and the most interesting artists who entertain the local population and spread their talent beyond to the wider world. Take this blog as an example. As we get close to having 7,000 images posted on Blog Guelph, it is evident that we have no shortage of great photographers or cool things to snap and share with the world.

Today I'd like to focus attention on my lovely friend Tannis Slimmon - one of Guelph's finest musical talents. I can easily deem her the 'darling of song' with a voice that will drop your jaw.

But don't take my word for it. Why not join Tannis and her musical friends Jude Vadala and Katherine Wheatley at Folkway Music on December 3rd and 4th for their 5th annual Christmas concert. It's an intimate venue that always sells out so do not dilly dally with the ticket buying. Available at Folkway on Suffolk Street - #163.

I've got mine - she says with great satisfaction and anticipation.
