Thanksgiving always makes me feel the passing of seasons. Summer has faded, fall has flung down its mantle of leaves, and it's time to start settling back to old routines as we hear the call of another winter echo down the aisles of squash, cranberries, and turkey.

Me, I have always loved routines. And each day for me has a ritual - small things that anchor my day; that give substance to my hopeful mood and positive outlook.

Seeing as it's Thanksgiving this coming weekend, I'd like to take today to blog some photos that highlight some of the rituals that many of us here in Guelph share. And to be thankful for these small but wonderful things in life.
