Happy Tuesday!

What a scorcher it is today, and it is supposed to be this way all week. It it only seemed fitting that todays collection of pictures featured refreshing, and presumably cold water.

Here are a few tips to help keep you cool and heathly during this heat wave:

- Drink lots of water and natural juices, even if you aren't thirsty
- Take advantage of the cool air in shopping malls, libraries and friends homes
- Avoid heavy meals, and using your oven
- Avoid going out in the blazing sun or heat when possible
- Avoid intense, or moderately intense physical activity
- Never leave a child or pet in a parked car, or sleeping outside in direct sunlight

Hope this helps you all make it through this hot summer weather. In a pinch, Guelph has a number of free splash pads and wading pools that will help take the edge off.

Good luck, and keep cool!
