A beautiful Friday to all of you.
Love them or hate them, I believe we've had our fill of the Royals by now. Which is why I'm veering us back in the direction of our own Royal City.
Doors Open has been opening doors in Ontario since 2002, with Guelph occurring the first Saturday in the long line-up of cities gazing lovingly at their hometown heritage. This lovely Red Rooster by Cool Baby is a key landmark in Guelph, and will be front and centre as Bernardi Precast on Elizabeth Street is added to the Guelph repertoire. Here's a bit of his history: Turn Right at the Rooster.
So get out there tomorrow. Take a gander at things kept hidden from us the rest of the year. Steep yourself in the past.
Even if it doesn't feel like it, it is springtime after all.
p.s. Don't miss the Manor too!
