Blog Guelph: Child Eating Pig - not really!

Well, it is College Royal this weekend up on campus. Let me touch on some of the highlights; THE CAT SHOW, I have always meant to take in this event, and long has it been a source of wonder, back after a 23 year hiatus THE BEARD GROWING COMPETITION (at first I misread this as Bread Growing and thought, "how strange"), THE JUNIOR TRACTOR RODEO for the kids, and THE PANCAKE FLIPPING CONTEST (with pancakes to follow!), are just a few of the events happening up there this weekend. Pancake breakfasts are a fixture in the West, sort of like dropping your "g"s from your verbs, and I think I'll check that out this weekend. There are also a number of student/club displays, and a whole lot of animals. You'll find a list of events/activities here.

Hope you are having a wonderful day,

Child-eating pig

OH, the cat show!
Winnie would so win, but taking her and showing her would be a real problem. The whole picking up, and putting in carrier with welder gear on at the show just would not work.

Bread Growing! Is that like money growing on trees?
