Today I have just one photograph for you, mostly because I have thought about this photograph for quite some time and have been quite moved by it. Krista Kruger has produced such a complete image in this photograph. She has four iterations of it on her blog, but to me, this one is just finished, just settled. There is something so peaceful about they way the trees relate as elements within and to eachother, and the composition seems to really anchor them in the ground, and in my mind! There is something timeless, silent, and ethereal at play within this scene. She writes that she passes these trees everyday, and you can feel that familiarity and respect in this image. This is a beautiful example of letting your heart guide your composition. I hope you are able to enjoy this as much as I have.
Now it is time to get ready for the snow!
