Looking for stuff to do this weekend? Well belly on up to Bloggy Bar for a shot of what's happening.
Tonight @ Folkway Music on Suffolk Street, you could enjoy a great evening of music with Tony (Quarrington), Jeff (Bird) and Hank (Williams). Hank of course will be there in spirit. Details abound by clicking the link.
Katherine Wheatley and James Gordon are helping you heat up January with a Winter Songwriting Retreat Weekend @ Ignatius Jesuit Centre. The weekend starts with a concert - open to everyone - which of course includes you.
On Saturday, friends and family of Carol Milligan are hosting a Celebration of a Great Life at 7:30pm upstairs at the Albion Hotel. Carol helped shape Guelph in many ways - and left us much to soon. She will be missed.
I'd be thrilled if the lot of you took to the great outdoors this weekend and photographed your faces off. Of course you'd have to load your images on Flickr then post some to the Blog Guelph group so that we could sing your praises. But hey - that should be easy enough.
On-line shopping anyone? There's a new kid on the Etsy block - Sacred Circle Herbs - just waiting for your orders. For more Guelph based Etsy shops, poke through the links in the left side bar.
Beyond these suggestions - use your imagination.
May you notice the splendor that surrounds you.
Sue Richards
