Winter has stepped up a few notches in the last day or so - sooooo - I've decided to distract you with the work of our ever ham-ish Giant Vermin and this porky Gem of the day. Click the pic to see further evidence of his camera handling prowess.

Beauty of Winter, indeed! I think I've developed 2 rolls of film every day this week. AND, how cute is Paul's dog, Shelby?! I'm pretty sure I get the same look from my human companion when we are out for a walk.
Well, I thought I would share a granola recipe today. I've never made granola. A friend's photos over christmas planted it in my head, and last night had me trekking to Zehrs to get almonds, honey and sesame seeds. I also picked up ground flax and threw that in. The rest of the ingredients I had, and I was plenty glad I had the brown rice syrup. There was definately layers of different sweet flavours. It's a hit here!
I see the sun is out again, and I hope longer than it was yesterday. Geesh!

I've been listening to Urban Outfitter's playlist this morning. Unfortunately it can't be downloaded to itunes in Canada, but you can listen from their site.
I'm also contemplating opening a pomegranate and drying out some seeds for planting. I bought the cutest plant last week, that is cut in a standard topiary style. I now have this vision of large pots on my deck this summer with a row of pomegrantes.
Belgian nursery also has a wack of lemon and lime trees. Exciting!

It was great waking up to all that fog this morning. I was tempted to get out there and take photos, but alas, I did not.
This morning's rain has me thinking of spring and seeds and getting an order in to a nursery.

Ahhh, another sunny day out there. It's one of those days where you want to try out a new camera, or take a new route downtown. Alas, I have wacky headache, and running to the store to get a basket of fruit might be it for me today. It was splendid out there though!

The sun is shining! It is lovely out there!
Today I've mixed in a couple of images from summer green days, that I found in Blog Guelph's flickr pool. It won't be long now when we'll be ordering seeds and getting things started for the garden.
There are a couple of things I want to show you today. The first is a photographic exhibit at the Guelph Civic Museum on images of Guelph. "This limited time exhibition features images from the exceptional photo collection of Guelph Civic Museum."
The other is a link for a double exposure project from a New York photographer, Damon Winter. I love double exposures, and I've done so many around town, but not in such an organized way. So many ideas are going through my head.
