I'm back! Lately I have been using the Veganomicon book for recipes, and I have to say, I've had hit after hit. I'll tell you about tonight's recipe some other time, but I will tell you about something that I can't get enough of, and it's called cheater beans. It's a recipe for baked beans using canned navy beans. Last night was the second time making them, and I think I'll double the recipe next time. There is not enough left overs to bring to work for the both of us.
You should make them. They are hearty and oh so good for the weather we're going to get. Here's a link to find the recipe. (they have printed with permission, but there seems to be an issue with the link, and you might have to find it cached) Last night I halved the molasses and used maple syrup for the other half, but I was told that full on molasses was the way to go forward the next time. You might want to decide for yourself.
