Blog Guelph: got duck?

got duck?, originally uploaded by K.Jane.

The 'yellow ducks of summer' were thickly spread on the river for Guelph's Canada Day celebrations yesterday and the lovely K Jane was there to capture the fun! Click her pic for more quacky photo Gems.

All in all, it was a grand day in the old town - lots of Guelphites decked out in red, some festooned with flags and all generally sporting wrap around smiles. Our street enjoyed an exciting batch of backyard fireworks much to the thrill of dozens of bug eyed children and jolly adults.

Oh Canada, Happy Birthday to thee!!

Apparently we're heading into another round of sultry weather this weekend. A paddle down the Eramosa maybe your coolest entertainment choice. For a larger experience, consider Canoeing Down the Grand.

Here's July in your eye.
