Blog Guelph: The Family

The Family, originally uploaded by felixtrio.

It's been awhile since I featured the 'bare naked' family that live in our fountain in St. George's Square - what controversy that stirred up in its day. Oh me, Oh my, what would the children think??!!! And now - well - does anyone even notice?

Please enjoy today's beautifully captured Gem by felixtrio.

This should be a snap! The 2nd Annual Guelph-Wellington "Summer in Swing" Photography Contest is now officially open!

From now until July 2, submit your finest photos of summer in Guelph-Wellington County for a chance to win the grand prize: two weekend passes to the 2010 Hillside Festival, taking place July 23-25 at Guelph Lake. Click the link for everything you need to know.

After 22 years as Executive Director of Guelph Arts Council, Sally Wismer is retiring! To celebrate her contributions to the organization and the larger community, the Board of Directors is hosting an informal reception on Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at River Run Centre. The public is warmly invited to drop between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to share memories with Sally. Official remarks will begin at 5:15 pm.

Today is grand folks. Dig it deeply.
