Blog Guelph: Guelph Lake Revisited

Guelph Lake Revisited, originally uploaded by P.Freeman.

I've been reading as much as I can lately. It's either been curling, reading or getting lost in the apps of my new iPhone. (yes the p is capitalized. I'm constantly being corrected while writing on it.) This cold was a doozy, and I am happy to be on the other side of it now.
I took advantage of the free books available as ebooks, but last night I decided I didn't need a classic. I needed something different to celebrate my somewhat healthy condition. I bought This Book Will Save Your Life, by A.M Homes. I think it's going to be a book that sticks with me. All last night I dreamt that I had something in my chest that I needed taken out.
Now, I am off to figure out if you can lend ebooks. I think Paula might like this one.

Have a great day everyone! The sun is shining, and I think I picked quite an assortment of photos for you to click on.

I have always wanted to be in a book club but no one ever wants me.... As I wrote to the Mercury when trying to get into their book club "the only thing better than swimming in the swoony afterglow of a good book is an equally good discussion" - NOTHING. This is an excellent idea.
