Blog Guelph: The Ward

, originally uploaded by oliverstreetphoto.

I'm continuing my trek with more photos of another favourite building and a fab one of the coolest corner in The Ward. I wish I knew this store back in the day. I can picture myself sitting on the step eating a popsicle if they sold them, or a pepperette, or maybe a hunk of cheese.
For a little while when I moved here, the glass windows were covered with ticket stubs and stickers, and a little piece of history I pined for. Hello, Freddie Mercury at the Maple Leaf Gardens for $9.50!?

It's Thursday, overcast, and dreary, but a perfect day for black and white film wandering through The Ward.
