Blog Guelph: 3

Today Blog Guelph takes a gander at the magical, mystical, marvelous Number 3.
Everywhere you look, even in our photo pools, the number three seems to rear it's significant head.
trio...triad...triplet... triptych...trilogy...tricycle...triplicate...triumverate...
it goes on and on and on...

So behold (and click!) a smattering of images and reflections on the first odd prime number:

Pythagoras called three the perfect number, basically because it expressed all - beginning, middle, and end.

When something happens three times, there is a pattern.

Earth is the third planet in its local Solar System.

In the constellation Orion, his belt is made up of 3 stars in a row.

Third time's the charm.

A hat-trick in sports is associated with succeeding at anything three times in three consecutive attempts.

Now, on the count of three...
