Blog Guelph: 10/31
The thrift stores are a flurry of activity today as Guelphites clammer to pull off their creepy costumes for the first big, pre daylight savings time 10-31 in my memory. Yes folks, our clocks have yet to fall back meaning it will be light longer than ever tonight.
So here's the question of the day? Will parents buckle to the incessant pleas of their ghostly brood and hit the streets before sunset or try to restrain the eager alter egos until dark of night?
So you know, I've got my money is on the buckle factor.
AND - thanks to the 'it's happening faster than we ever imagined global warming' we will also enjoy unseasonably warm temperatures.
How scary is that. Boo Hoo.
So then, and on a more cheerful, helpful Blog Guelph note, if you happen to be one of the poor misfits that didn't scoop a mullet wig at VAVA Village or mistakenly dumped the Hallowe'en costume bag during spring cleaning, today's series of photographic brilliance will provide you with some easy solutions to your tricky day.
