Blog Guelph: Space Available

abandoned greeting cards, originally uploaded by Denim.

Today's Globe and Mail features a 16 page insert dedicated to Guelph - The city that makes a difference. In the message from our mayor, Karen Farbridge - she notes how our citizens value "arts, culture and heritage" and notes how "important it is to preserve our community's unique character."

Everytown Ontario is everywhere and in my outspoken opinion dull as dirt. To be and stay unique requires creative input from everyone on every level plus a clear intent to hold to the road less traveled. The forces of beige and the all mighty buck love same same because they fear difference, not because it's bad.
