Blog Guelph: Happy New Year!

September 1st, originally uploaded by TheGiantVermin.

It has always seemed odd that we would celebrate the new year at a time when darkness prevails and frostbite is easier to come by than a bar in downtown Guelph. I do realize that most folk believe you can't mess with calendar dates but I'm simply not most folks. I k now you can. I do it all the time.

For me - September marks the end and beginning of a life cycle that beats my drum. There is energy in the air. People are refreshed.

So then - Happy New Year. May this fall lift you up.

Blog Guelph will once again be posting the photos that you take of our fine location on this currently parched patch of earth. The current plan involves a team approach by Downtown Lynn and myself sharing the posting duties.

If you want to advertise on Blog Guelph - we currently get 10,000 monthly visits - then you really should talk to me. The rates are monthly and oh so reasonable. Send an email to artjam at artjam dot org.

If you want to join the ranks of the subscription holders - a fine way of telling us you LOVE BLOG GUELPH - then click the PayPal button in the top left side bar. You'll get better karma.

The Giant Vermin starts us off with this big ass sunflower. Click the pic for a peek at his photo stream.
