Blog Guelph: Train Station

DSC_0091, originally uploaded by thephilosopherisin.

The Guelph Train Station, built in 1911 is a classic example of cool by my standards. Photographer thephilosopherisin captures this moody Bogart style shot of the front archway.

Let's hope that when Via finally decides to build a larger, differently located station, our city moms and pops have the good sense to keep this gem standing. BTW, the inside has some equally striking features.
